Roses We are a retail / wholesale specialty nursery located in Brentwood Bay on Vancouver Island’s Saanich Peninsula. We grow a wide assortment of plants for the avid and novice gardener specializing in perennials and own root roses. We do not ship roses. Plants are our passion. We grow mainly Old Roses, David Austin English roses, modern shrub roses and climbers. We raise our roses as naturally as possible without the use of chemicals. Natural predators like ladybugs, lacewings and even wasps are good friends and should be encouraged in your garden as well as Birds and Bees. We try, whenever possible, to have them on their own roots, as we feel the roses perform better this way. However, if we cannot obtain them on their own roots, we try to ensure they are grafted on hardy rootstocks, suitable for our climate (Rosa multiflora, Rosa canina inermis, & Rosa laxa). Sizes vary according to variety, and time of year. They are available in 1 gallon or 2 gallon containers. Unfortunately we cannot list the sizes available for each variety. Please enquire as to availability. Gift Certificates are available in any denomination for the plant nut on your gift list.
